Tanya Hart Little is the founder and CEO of Hart Advisors, a real estate advisory firm based in Dallas, Texas. Since Hart’s inception in 2009, Tanya and her team have completed more than $6.5 billion of commercial loan restructures, originations and CMBS loan assumptions.
Prior to founding Hart, Tanya served as Chief Operating Officer of RBC Capital Markets’ Real Estate Mortgage Capital business, where she was responsible for developing and overseeing all business operations and strategy for a new lending business unit, which produced more than $2.3 billion in loan originations within its first year of operation.
Before joining RBC Capital Markets, Tanya was a Managing Director for the North America Lending division of GE Real Estate. In this role, she developed and directed the marketing strategy for a $7 billion per-year national lending platform.
Tanya was one of the first recipients of the Dallas Business Journal’s Women in Business Award, Real Estate Forum Magazine’s Woman of Influence Award and the 2015 Enterprising Women of the Year Award, which recognizes top women entrepreneurs. She was the first recipient of the Individual Career Advancement for Women recognition from CREW and is a past Board Member. Tanya has been actively involved and served on the Real Estate Council Board of Directors and executive committee for a number of years, was a founding member of the 4Word Dallas Chapter and served on the 2014-2015 Board of Directors for the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth. Tanya is a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Texas and Florida.
Tanya’s passion is mentoring young professionals and middle school age children. She is an active participant both individually and in various mentoring programs including CREW, The Real Estate Counsel (TREC), 4Word and GE’s Financial Leadership Program.
